Jumbangla Desk: Electricity and Energy Advisor Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan has ordered not to use air conditioners (AC) as much as possible in three government ministries for the next four months to save electricity.

This information was informed in a press release sent by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday. It is said in the notification that this instruction has been given through an order of the advisor's office today.
According to the notification, the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the Ministry of Railways have been instructed to avoid the use of air conditioners as much as possible in the coming winter season from November to February next year.
As a result of this, it will be possible to increase the supply of electricity for irrigation, production of fertilizers and supply of gas to industries, the directive said.

The notification also said that earlier the government has given instructions to all the ministries to take necessary measures to reduce the consumption of electricity by 25 percent.
