International Desk: Israeli forces attacked the besieged Palestinian Gaza, killing at least 53 people and 21 people in Lebanon.

Qatar-based international media Al-Jazeera reported this information on Monday (October 28).

It said that at least 46 of the 53 Palestinians killed in the past 24 hours were in the northern Gaza Strip. Over the past four weeks, the occupation forces have been conducting massive operations in northern Gaza. At least 1,000 Palestinians were killed during this time.

Since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7 last year, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. 42 thousand 920 people have been killed so far in the attack of the occupiers. Most of them are women and children. Apart from this, about 100,000 people were injured.

Meanwhile, another 21 people were killed in Israeli attacks across Lebanon on Sunday. More than 2500 people have died in Israel's attacks since September this year. Lebanese armed group Hezbollah fighters also claimed 70 Israeli soldiers were killed.

On September 27, Israel killed Hassan Nasrullah, the head of the Lebanese armed organization Hezbollah. In retaliation, Iran fired 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on the night of October 1. Iran is said to be Hezbollah's main supporter and arms supplier.

In the middle of such tension, the occupying Israel killed Yahya Sinwar, the main leader of the Palestinian independence organization Hamas, on October 16. Two days later, Hezbollah launched a drone attack on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence. However, there were no casualties in the attack.
