International Desk: The country's Union Home Minister Amit Shah has commented that the sound of bombs is heard more than Rabindra Sangeet in India's West Bengal. He launched BJP's 'Member Collection Abhiyan' program in Salt Lake on Sunday afternoon. Amit Shah made this comment in the speech at that time.
Amit Shah said, 'Bangla is being infiltrated by state patronage and the only way to stop it is to elect the BJP in 2026... Instead of Rabindra Sangeet, Bengal is hearing the sound of bombs today.'
According to Indian media NDTV, this is the first time that the Union Home Minister has come to the state after the results of the Lok Sabha elections. There, the subject of 2026 assembly polls has come up again and again in Shah's lengthy speech. He also asked what changes will happen in the state if BJP comes to power.
At that time, Amit Shah said, 'BJP will come to power in 2026 if it can collect one crore members in the state. Incidents like Sandeshkhali to RG tax will stop if BJP comes to power in 2026. We won in Haryana. Will win in Jharkhand, Maharashtra too. After that our target is Bengal.'
Shah's speech also raised the issue of 'misgovernance' and 'corruption' by the Trinamool government in the state. Directly attacking Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he said, 'Mamatadi says Center is not giving money for 100 days of work. Trinamool Syndicate is taking money even though the Center is giving money. If BJP comes to power, cow smuggling, coal smuggling will stop. No one has to pay money to get a job.'
