Own Correspondent, Gazipur: A case has been registered in Gazipur, naming 118 people, with former Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque as the main accused. 200-300 unknown accused have been made in the case.

Parul Akhter, mother of college student Rakibul Islam Raju, who was injured in the student movement, filed the case at Kashimpur Police Station of Gazipur Metropolitan on Saturday (October 25) night.
The names of 118 people including Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League President Azmat Ulla Khan, Kashimpur Thana Awami League President Anwar Hossain and General Secretary Mir Asaduzzaman Tula were mentioned in the case.
In the statement of the case, the plaintiff mentioned that on August 5, around 10 am, Raju left home to participate in the anti-discrimination student movement. At around 11:30, the students started chanting slogans on the paved road of Dhaka-Tangail highway. At that time, the mentioned accused attacked the students with 200-300 Awami terrorists. Then a pistol shot hit my son on the right side of the head. He was seriously injured and fell to the ground. Later, the students rescued my son and took him to Sheikh Fazilatunnecha Mujib KPJ Memorial Hospital for treatment. On the day of the incident, many unidentified students including my son were injured by the terrorists.
