Jumbangla Desk: A group of Chhatra Dal injured five people including the convenor of Damurhuda Upazila Jubo Dal on their way home after celebrating Jubo Dal's birthday in Chuadanga. Locals and colleagues rescued them and admitted them to the District Headquarters Hospital. The condition of one of them is said to be critical. Party sources claim that behind the incident is fishing in the bill of the raiser.

The incident took place in C&B neighborhood of the district city on Sunday afternoon.

The injured are - Damurhuda Upazila Jubo Dal convener Mahfuzur Rahman Johnny (35), Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Afzanur Rahman Sabuj (34), Jubo Dal leader Ziaur Rahman Zia (40), Mostafizir Rahman Sumon (35) and Salim (26).

Mahfuzur Rahman Johnny, who was seriously injured in the attack, narrated the incident of the attack and said that he was returning home with the leaders and workers after the 46th founding anniversary ceremony of Jubo Dal at Chuadanga Sahitya Parishad. On reaching that area, a group of Chhatra Dal stopped their motorcycle. Later, he accidentally cut Elopathari with a sharp weapon and beat him with a stick, injuring five people. Locals and colleagues rescued them from the scene and admitted them to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital. One is in critical condition.

In this regard, Saifur Rashid Jhantu, general secretary of the district youth party, said that I have heard that there is a conflict between the boys of Chuadanga Chhatra Dal and the boys of Damurhuda Youth Dal based on fishing. But I don't know the exact reason for the attack.

On the other hand, Chuadanga Zilla Chhatra Dal President Shahajan said that on October 25, Chuadanga Zilla Chhatra Dal Information and Research Secretary Shahabaz Hossain Tinku went fishing in Kuralgachi Raiser Bill.
