Various types of research related to space are being carried out in the International Space Station (ISS). Astronauts visit the station at regular intervals to conduct various scientific experiments. But there are cracks in several places of this station floating in space. Some of these cracks are quite large. And so there are concerns about the safety of astronauts stationed at the International Space Station.

International Space Station

Russian engineers have found cracks in 50 places in the International Space Station. According to their data, four major cracks have been identified in the International Space Station; Because of which the astronauts on the space station could be at risk very quickly. These cracks and weak spots are visible in the Russian part of the International Space Station. US space agency NASA and Russia's space agency Roscosmos have already started work on repairing the crack.

NASA and Roscosmos see cracks in the International Space Station as a serious safety risk for astronauts. These cracks have a level 5 on NASA's internal risk assessment scale, which indicates a serious threat. The repair of this crack is going on fast.

"When we were in Russia earlier this year, we reported on the crack multiple times," said NASA Associate Administrator Jim. Since the fissure is adjacent to the space station's hatch, Roscosmos agreed to close the hatch as much as possible. The hatch is now being closed at dusk.'

NASA plans to use the International Space Station until 2030. SpaceX was tasked with removing the ISS from orbit by NASA earlier this year. SpaceX is tasked with building a large Dragon-type spacecraft after 2030.
