Jumbangla Desk: The court has filed charges against Evely's Managing Director (MD) Mohammad Russell and Chairman Shamima Nasreen in the case of breach of trust and fraud. As a result, the trial of the case officially began.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arfatul Rakib's court gave this order on Monday (October 28).

Arrest warrants have been issued against the accused as they are absconding.

Plaintiff's lawyer Imran Hossain confirmed this information.

It is alleged in the case that from March 27, 2021 to June 5 of the same year, he paid Tk. Goods were not supplied to the plaintiff against this amount Later, when he contacted Evali's authorities for a partial refund, they gave him a check of Tk 180,000. However, the plaintiff could not withdraw any money from the concerned bank with that check.

Later, as the check amount was not paid, the plaintiff of the case, Tahsanul Islam Al-Amin, filed the case under section 406 and 420 of the Penal Code.
