Jumbangla Desk: It is reported that Afroza Meem, the director of Afroza Girl Hostel in Faridpur, committed suicide by drinking poison after leaving a 15-day-old daughter.

Before this, the director of the hostel ran away after snatching about 50 lakh rupees from various people including the boarder of the hostel. The news about this incident was published in different media. Meem was initially known to be addicted to online gambling, according to the information provided by his hostel boarders.
Arpara Union Chairman of Madhukhali Upazila Badiuzzamal Babu has confirmed the suicide of Meem. He said that on Saturday night Meem was admitted to the hospital due to poisoning at a friend's house in Chittagong. He died on Sunday night. He was buried after the Janaza at his home after Maghrib on Monday. However, I came to know through the newspaper that Meem disappeared with about 50 lakh taka.
However, the chairman could not confirm anything about the cause of his death, from which place he consumed poison and in which hospital he received treatment.
Meanwhile, two days ago Meem did a one-and-a-half-hour live from her husband Mohammad Sabbir's Facebook ID with a tearful voice. He also said that he would commit suicide there. He also mentions that he owes a lot of money live. It was not possible to contact the husband Mohammad Sabbir to know about this.

Three days ago, while bringing money to her house in Jhiltuli of Faridpur city, Shuni Meem ran away with her family. Meem ran a women's hostel there. Even there he disappeared with a debt of around 50 lakh taka.
It should be noted that Afsana Mim, daughter of Mamun Molla of Arpara village of Madhukhali upazila, rented six flats of the 11-storey Rahmat Tower owned by Sufia Begum in front of the Jhiltulistha Diabetic Hospital in Faridpur city and started the mess named Afsana Girl Hostel. There are about 120 students in different rooms of 6 flats. She rented another flat in the same building and lived there with her husband Imamuzzaman Mia alias Sabbir. Just 15 days ago Meem gave birth to a baby girl through caesarean section in a hospital in the city.
The students of the hostel said that Meem suddenly disappeared with all the belongings of her family in a yellow pickup and two vans on Wednesday morning. Before that, on Tuesday night, Meem collected about 50 thousand taka from all the students of that hostel by paying 1000 taka and 2000 taka from some. Then it disappeared in the early morning, said the students of the hostel. Several students said that Meem became addicted to online gambling and fell into debt of around 50 lakh taka. He also took money from us at various times.
