The religious adviser said that there will be two types of packages for the next Hajj. The first package will be located within one-and-a-half kilometers from Kaaba Sharif. The second package will be between two and a half to three kilometers. Both the packages will cost less than last year.

Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain said, there are three parts of the cost of Hajj. Cost of air fare, stay in Makkah Madinah and dues to Saudi Government. However, how much the cost will be reduced will be announced on Wednesday.

He said, no one can perform Hajj for free with government money. Only those who are involved in Hajj management can perform Hajj. Many have the ability but are not interested in performing Hajj. We need to create awareness and motivate to perform Hajj.

Additional Deputy Commissioner SM Habibul Hasan, President of Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries Reza Humayun Farooq Chowdhury Shamim, Director of the Chamber Sahidur Rahman Patwari Mohan, President of Dinajpur Sammilita Qoumi Parishad Hazratul Allam Shamsul Huda Khan and others were present.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religion said that the Hajj package of 2025 will be announced on Wednesday (October 30) by the religious advisor Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain. There he will announce two packages for the first time. The first will be of Tk 5 lakh 50 thousand and the second will be Tk 4 lakh 75 thousand.

The ministry fixed the prices of the two packages in this way till Tuesday (October 29) evening. The religion secretary is scheduled to sit with the religion adviser at night to finalize it. There may be some amendments. If finalized, the passengers will go for Hajj according to their ability from these two packages.

Last year the general Hajj package was Tk 5 lakh 86 thousand. This time it is being reduced to Tk 4 lakh 75 thousand. The package will include hotel accommodation in Makkah and Madinah at an average distance of two to three kilometers from the Harem Sharif. Which will be called Azizia Package.

The Hajj Department of the Ministry of Religion said that compared to last year, the airfare has been reduced by Tk 35,000 to Tk 1,60,000. In addition, the price of some other services is being reduced in the Bangladesh part. On the Saudi side, two sectors are cutting costs.

This time the various fees of air fare, house rent, service charge, VAT-tax and baby check are decreasing, the ministry said.
