Sources from the textbook board's editing wing said there was an essay titled 'Cosmic Curator' by Professor Zafar Iqbal in the Class XI Bengali book. It is being omitted. Apart from this, Zafar Iqbal's writings are being completely excluded from all the books of various science subjects .

Sources in the Ministry of Education said that subject-wise committees were made to correct and refine the exaggerated history of the textbook. Members of that committee have completed the revisions. They are now in the final stages of being sent to the printer in manuscript form. Next week, the work of printing the 2025 textbook will begin.
