Jumbangla Desk: The Hajj package of 2025 has been announced by the adviser on religion to reduce the cost of going to Hajj under public and private management. A F M Khalid Hossain.
According to the announcement, next year the general Hajj package-1 of the government management will cost 4 lakh 78 thousand 242 taka.
And general Hajj package-2 will cost 5 lakh 75 thousand 680 taka.
Apart from this, general Hajj package has been fixed at Tk 4 lakh 83 thousand 156 through private means. In addition to the general Hajj package, the agency may announce an additional special package.
The adviser announced the Hajj package in the conference room of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the Secretariat on Wednesday (October 30).
According to the advisor's announcement, the cost of Hajj has been reduced by 1 lakh nine thousand 145 rupees in the government package-1. And 11 thousand 707 rupees decreased in government package-2.
The adviser said that the cost has been reduced by increasing the distance of housing from the outskirts of the Haram Sharif in Makkah, which was 2 km earlier. Now accommodation is done within 3 km.
The religious adviser said that in both official packages, every pilgrim must bring at least 40 thousand Saudi Riyals for food and 750 Saudi Riyals for Qurbani. Both packages will have accommodation of maximum 6 persons per room in house or hotel in Makkah and Madinah with attached bath. Refrigerator will be provided in the house/hotel room/floor. In two packages, free medicines and primary medical services will be provided by Bangladesh government in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah. One Hajj guide will be arranged for 46 pilgrims.
He said that pilgrims of two packages will have to travel from Makkah hotel/home to Minar Tabernacle by bus and Mina-Arafah-Muzdalifa-Mina by train.
The advisor said, with extra money, 2, 3 and 4 seater rooms and short packages can be availed in houses/hotels in Makkah and Madinah.

are accommodation within three kilometers from the outskirts of the Haram Sharif in Makkah. Buses will be available to travel to Haram Sharif. There will be accommodation within a maximum of one and a half kilometers from Masjid Nawabi in Madinah.
Tents will be located in Green Zone (Zone-5) at Mina and 'D' category service facilities at Mina-Arafa. Travel from Makkah hotel/home to Minar Tabernacle by bus and train to Mina-Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina. Moallem will serve food in Mina and Arafa.
Facilitation Advisor for Package-II
said that the accommodation will be within one and a half kilometers from the outskirts of the Haram Sharif in Makkah. Accommodation will be provided in the Markaziya (Central Area) area of Medina.
Pilgrims of this package will get tent location in Yolo Zone (Zone-2) in Mina and upgraded 'D' category service facility in Mina-Arafa.
According to the private package

Accommodation within a maximum of one and a half kilometers from Masjid Nawabi in Madinah. Maximum accommodation of 6 people per room with attached bath and Minaya pilgrims tent in Green Zone (Zone-5) and 'D' category service should be ensured.
Moallem will serve food in Mina and Arafa. Train/bus (one bus per 100 people or double trip for 50 people) should be arranged for Makkah-Mina-Arafa-Muzdalifa travel.
Free medicines and first aid services will be provided by Bangladesh government in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah. One Hajj guide will be arranged for 46 pilgrims.

Preliminary Hajj registration will continue till November 30. This time registration time will not be extended.
The preliminary registration for Hajj has started from last September 1 to go to Hajj next year. Initial registration has to be done by depositing three lakh rupees. The rest of the Hajj package price must be paid within the time specified in the package.
This time the quota of pilgrims of Bangladesh is 1 lakh 27 thousand 198 people. In contrast, 9,315 Hajj pilgrims registered for the first time in about two months.
The adviser said, the price of Saudi riyal has increased by (32.50-29.74) = 2.76 taka, i.e. 9.28 percent, compared to the last Hajj.
