Under him, Sabina-Rituparna Chakmara beat Nepal 2-1 on their home soil to win the title for the second time in a row. This English coach has to go through various problems since taking charge of the Bangladesh women's team. Even midway through the just-concluded Nari Saaf, she was accused of not being able to see the seniors. Apart from this, he was having problems with the board on various issues. Due to which this coach said goodbye to the Bangladesh women's team even though he has a term of service till December 31.
On the day of Saaf victory, he told a media that the match against Nepal was his last match of coaching Bangladesh. When asked why he wants to quit his job even after winning, he said, 'I am really tired. I have never been in so much trouble in my coaching career.'
When asked what is the problem in Bangladesh, Peter said, 'I have not received salary for three months. After that, many people are aware of it. What else can I say? All in all, I'm a little disappointed.'
Not long ago, Peter took charge of Bangladesh women's football. He was originally brought in to work at Buff's Elite Academy. After coaching there for a year, he took charge of the women's football team last March. And he has played a big role in holding the title of the defending champions with responsibility.
