The students of Islamic University (EB) held a protest march and rally to demand trial of the teachers-students and officials involved in various activities including attacks, cases and torture, who opposed the popular uprising of the students. On Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., the procession took off from Battala of the campus. The procession, after circling the various roads of the campus, assembled in front of the administration building.

Hundreds of students from various departments were present in the rally along with EB coordinator SM Sweet and co-coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement. At the same time, they also demanded that unqualified people should not be given the opportunity to get admission in the university through pet quota.

In the rally, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement EB, SM Sweet, said that the interim government has banned those who had the blood of thousands of martyrs on their hands. But I have not seen any visible action against them from the administration in Islamic University. If the university administration does not take action against it, then the students will be forced to take strict action. The teachers who have fueled the Chhatra League for massacres, attacks and falsification of the movement should be removed and brought to justice as soon as possible.

He also said that the fascist government has carried out massacres across the country without accepting the logical reform of quota, the main demand of our movement. The discrimination for which thousands of students died, a group is again trying to do the same discrimination in Islamic universities. Students will take strict action against those who deny the July revolution and want to bring back discrimination.
