England Test captain Ben Stokes' home has been burgled. At the time of the incident, he was busy with the Test series against Pakistan. Stokes posted about the theft on social media.
The incident happened on October 17. That evening some masked men took jewelery and other valuables from his house. And at that time he was in Pakistan. His wife and children were in his house. However, no one was physically harmed.
Posting pictures of the stolen items, the England all-rounder called for the culprits to be found, writing, 'The worst part of this crime is that it happened while my wife and two young children were at home. Fortunately no one in my family was physically harmed. But this experience has affected their mental state. I also wonder how much worse this situation could have been.'
It is to be noted that among Stokes' stolen items, Stokes posted a photo of an Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal in 2020, three necklaces, a ring and two bags on X. All of which was stolen.
