US presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused Bangladesh of 'brutal violence' against religious minorities. He said, in his time, he would never have allowed such a thing to happen.

Since the fall of the government in Bangladesh in the first week of August, there have been protests among the Hindu community. Trump made these comments in a post on microblogging site X on Thursday.

He was elected as the President of the United States in 2016, but was defeated in the next election. No one can serve more than two consecutive terms as President of the United States. This time Trump is participating in the election again, as a result of which the voters see him as a candidate three times in a row.

As the Republican presidential candidate, Trump said, "I strongly condemn the 'savage violence' against Hindus, Christians and other minorities in Bangladesh, who have been attacked and looted by riotous mobs. Currently, Bangladesh is in total chaos.”

After the fall of the Awami League government on August 5, there have been allegations of attacks on the houses and businesses of the Hindu community. The Hindu community has continued to protest since then, although the government has termed the allegations as 'exaggerated'.

Trump 'minority torture' in BangladeshWhile talking about the situation in Bangladesh, Trump expressed concern about the condition of Hindus and wished Diwali.

He claimed that such a situation would never have happened in his time. He also criticized Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden.

Former President Trump said, “I would never have allowed something like this to happen in my time. Hindus all over the world and in America have been neglected by Kamala and Joe Biden.

"From Israel to the Ukraine and the southern border of America, they have caused nothing but disaster. But we will make America strong again and restore peace with strength."

He also promised to protect Hindu Americans from the 'radical leftist' and anti-religious agenda.

"I will fight for your freedom. Under my administration I will further strengthen our great partnership with India and my friend Prime Minister Modi.”

Kamala Harris warns Trump will destroy small businesses and impose higher taxes. "I cut taxes, eased regulations and unleashed the American boom, building one of the best economies in history," he said.

“We'll do it again, bigger and better than ever before; And we will make America great again."

Wishing Diwali, the former president added, "Hope the festival of lights brings victory of love over darkness!"
