Jumbangla Desk: In Sreepur of Gazipur, after tying two laborers to a tree and beating them by sprinkling salt and pepper powder on their wounds, eyes, face and body, an autorickshaw driver couple has been accused of torture. The victimized workers work in the Erects Pools and Structures Limited factory in the local Saitalia market area. The incident went viral on social media on Thursday (October 31) evening. Earlier on Tuesday (October 29) this incident took place in Abdar village of Telihati union of Sripur upazila.

Tortured laborer Alamgir Hossain (24) is the son of Achim Uddin of Abdar village in Telihati union of Sripur upazila. He works from his uncle's house in the local Saitalia Bazar IT factory. The other youth Mainuddin Sohel (26) is the son of Zainal Abedin of Bhatadia village of Sonagazi upazila of Feni.

The accused are Yusuf Ali's son Faiz Uddin of Abdar village, his wife Lima Akhtar, their two daughters Tumpa (22) and Promee (17).
