Big rise in Dhaka Stock Exchange Index

On this day, the volume of transactions in DSE decreased slightly compared to the previous working day, but increased in CSE. At the same time, the share prices of most companies and mutual funds traded on DSE and CSE rose.

According to DSE and CSE sources, at the end of the day, the main index of DSE, DSEX, increased by 118.80 points from the previous day and stood at 5 thousand 17 points. The DSE Shariah index increased by 26.20 points to 1,113 points and the DS30 index increased by 52.38 points to 1,858 points.

A total of 394 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE. Among them, share and unit prices of 312 companies increased, 57 decreased and 25 remained unchanged. A total of 346 crore 24 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE today. Shares and units worth Tk 357 crore 24 lakh were traded on the previous working day.


On the other hand, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CSCX index increased by 121.93 points from the previous day at 8 thousand 527 points. Overall index CASPI increased by 196.18 points to 14 thousand 17 points, Sharia index increased by 10.93 points to 903 points and CSE 30 index increased by 181.94 points to 11 thousand 691 points.

Shares and units of 180 companies were traded on CSE. Among them, the share and unit prices of 102 companies increased, 56 decreased and 22 remained unchanged. At the end of the day, shares and units worth Tk 10 crore and 8 lakh were traded in CSE. Shares and units worth Tk 3.3 crore were traded on the previous working day.
