As the use of internet is increasing day by day, so is the crime based on internet is also increasing day by day. All the terrible crime alleys have been created in the virtual world.
Where as wandering occurs, a person can indulge in many big crimes even from within the four walls. So we should be careful that our children do not enter such alleys of the internet world. Because it is revealed in the Hadith Sharif, each of you is the keeper (responsible) and each of you will be questioned. …a man is the protector of his family, he will be asked about it… (Bukhari, Hadith: 5188)
Nowadays children of rising age are more addicted to internet. The mirage of the virtual world attracts them more. Perverse entertainment, grabbing expensive digital products for free or short-cut dreams of becoming big sometimes lead them into the dark world of the internet, threatening both their faith and their lives. One such dangerous world of the internet is the dark web.
The dark web is a dangerous online crime world, which is more dangerous than people can imagine.
Dark web users conduct various illegal activities by keeping their personal information private. E.g.- Hacking, drug selling, arms selling, copyright infringement, smuggling, assassination, pornography, human trafficking, etc. handle heinous crimes.
Dark web is mostly visited by young kids mainly for various valuable digital products like pirated copies of expensive software, best selling books, newly released movies, songs etc are available on dark web. Since these copyright infringements are done anonymously, no action can be taken against the culprits. But the ownership of digital products is the right of the manufacturer of that product. It involves using or marketing in violation of piracy to violate the rights of others. Rasool (pbuh) said, someone's wealth is not lawful for anyone except for his satisfaction. (air hockey)
In the world of dark web, this is the smallest crime. Since it is a paradise for criminals, many people gradually get involved in big crimes. Here, dangerous drugs are available cheaply, brutal military weapons can be bought anonymously. Harmful acid, fake jewellery, fake checks, fake credit cards etc. are available here. And these black markets are so protected that it is almost impossible to identify the buyers and sellers here.
The worst thing is that here you can even hire professional killers, who even kill people in exchange for cryptocurrency. Apart from this, how terrorists plan various crimes, how to make illegal explosives at home, tutorials for any such criminal activities are also available on the dark web. Besides, it is a vast storehouse of perverted taste entertainment, every act of which is abominable haram and satanic work. In the Holy Qur'an, Almighty Allah has ordered His servants to refrain from all the activities of Satan. It was said, 'O believers! Alcohol, gambling and idols and arrows are abominable satanic works, abandon them so that you may be successful.' (Surah: Maida, verse: 90)
Another danger is that there are many hackers on the dark web. As a result, when the user clicks on a link, his device gets infected with a virus, in many cases hackers take full control of the user's device, even accessing his device's camera, which the user doesn't even notice. As a result, without his knowledge, many of his sensitive matters started to be sold in the dark web market.
Or he may come under the scrutiny of law enforcement for committing a crime using his device. That is why Almighty Allah has warned His servants through the Holy Qur'an, 'Do not lean on the wrongdoers, then the fire will touch you, and then you will have no protector but Allah, and then you will not be helped.' (Surah: Hud, verse: 113)
Because the company of wrongdoers and their imitations push people towards hell. So one should refrain from visiting this world even just to see, as one wrong step here can pay a heavy price. Every believer should keep himself and his relatives away from such destructive activities.
