EC officials say many submit fake birth certificates to get NID. In this, the concerned people register multiple births with the help of fraud. Again, the citizenship certificate is also found to be fake. Apart from this, complications arise with the names of husband and wife. Especially those who have multiple marriages or get divorced, such irony is created during the revision of NID. As the services are delayed, the citizens are also deprived of the desired services.

Regional Election Officers raised the issues in a recent meeting. According to them, it is difficult to provide national identity card services as a person has multiple birth certificates. The authenticity of the citizenship certificate or identity card or inheritance certificate etc. issued by the public representative cannot be verified as there is no QR code. Again there needs to be an online system for verifying the correctness of Nikahnama or Talaqnama. Online passport information verification is also required. If these credentials can be verified online, it will be easier to provide NID correction services.

After discussion it was decided to take appropriate initiative in this regard in the meeting. Then EC Secretary Shafiul Azim NID Director General. Mahbub Alam gave written instructions to Talukdar to take appropriate action. In this case, he asked the concerned authorities to implement the issues by writing a letter.

According to the directive, the EC Secretary said, measures should be taken to prevent having multiple birth certificates, to obtain citizenship certificates with QR codes, to verify the correctness of Nikahanama or Talaknama online and to send letters to the concerned persons to verify passport information online. Apart from this, he asked the applicant to inform the office which office to contact for further action after determining the category (type of complexity) of the application for amendment of national identity card through a short message on the mobile phone.

On the other hand, the Election Commission Secretariat informed the Election Commission Secretariat to carry out extensive publicity activities regarding the provision of all types of services including national identity card services, to take the initiative of speedy distribution of distributed smart carts stored in the field offices, to arrange seating arrangements for the service receivers in each office and to make the service delivery of the service receivers easy and hassle-free. EC Secretary ordered to do.

This car will run continuously for 7 months without charging, there is no additional cost

It is known that currently 6 lakh 65 thousand 516 NID applications are pending in ten constituencies at the field level. Among them, two lakh 68 thousand 294 applications remain incomplete in various categories. And three lakh 77 thousand 222 applications related to information or party complications are pending.
