Religion Desk: Surah Yasin is the 36th Surah of the Holy Quran. This surah has 83 verses and five bows. And it was revealed in Makkah. This important surah is called the heart of the Holy Quran.

Let it be a sura

Hadith Sharif mentions four special benefits of reciting this surah in the world and the hereafter. They are-

1. Reciting this surah once gives the same reward as reciting the Holy Quran 10 times. (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2887)

2. One who recites Surah Yaseen at the beginning of the day, all his needs for that day are fulfilled. (Sunan Daremi, Hadith: 3418)

3. Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said, whoever recites Surah Yasin for the sake of Allah Ta'ala, all his previous sins will be forgiven. So recite this surah to your dead. (Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith: 2574)

4. Rasulullah (s.a.w.) also mentioned that whoever recites Surah Yasin in the morning, all his tasks will be made easy till the evening. And whoever reads in the evening until morning, all his work will be made easy. (Sunan Daremi, Hadith: 3482)
