At the same time, the negotiators have expressed their opinion to eliminate corruption and irregularities and adopt people-friendly development projects.
The negotiators said these things while participating in the seminar titled 'Prosperous Bangladesh through the combination of reforms and sustainable development' at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Saturday (November 2).
Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum (BSRF) and Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh jointly organized this seminar.
Mohammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources was present as the chief guest in the seminar.
In the speech of the chief guest, the advisor said that the feasibility study report of the project will be thoroughly scrutinized before accepting the project in future. No corruption will be tolerated. People friendly projects will be undertaken.
He said, the aspirations of the people towards this government are sky high. We have to take responsibility in a difficult situation. There is no money in the treasury, no foreign currency. We are talking about reforms but there is not much time. We want to return as soon as possible to my previous occupation of teaching profession. What can be done in this short time!
'Corruption will not be tolerated in any way'
He also said that there is a difference between this government and other governments. When another government comes through the electoral process. It takes money to make an election, it takes money. Our difference with other governments is that the government goes to power. But none of us went to power. We have accepted a responsibility. We took the responsibility because the students said they took the responsibility. We are not responsible for permanent interests. We are responsible for the sacrifice of more than a thousand martyrs. Also to those who were injured.

Roads, ports, energy systems and communication networks must be able to meet the needs of a growing economy and be ready to meet future demands, said the seminar's discussants. Infrastructure is not just a physical structure; It is about building a stable foundation where investment is encouraged, costs are reduced and quality of life is improved.
They said infrastructure is deeply linked to reducing production costs, which directly affects Bangladesh's position in the global market. Achieving export targets will require bold infrastructure investments, which will include building efficient transport corridors, modern ports and sustainable energy systems.
