Justin Trudeau's country recently pointed the finger at Indian Home Minister Amit Shah over attacks on pro-Khalistan separatists in Canada. In response, Delhi protested Canada's complaint against Amit Shah by summoning the Canadian High Commissioner on Saturday.

This information was informed by the source of the Ministry of External Affairs of India on this day. India has also made explosive allegations that Canada is monitoring Indian diplomats through audio and video.

Regarding this, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Saturday, "In view of Canada's recent complaints, we have recently called the Canadian High Commissioner. A note informed that the Government of India has strongly protested the (Canadian) Deputy Minister David Morrison's absurd and baseless reference to the Union Home Minister of India before the Committee.

The allegation first appeared in the American newspaper Washington Post. They alleged that 'a top Indian official' had given permission to collect information about Khalistani separatists in Canada and attack them.

According to the Washington Post, a source in Canada claims that Amit Shah is the 'top ranking' person.

Later, Morrison said that he was the source of the Washington Post. Morrison said, "A reporter called me to ask if he was talking about that particular person." I say, 'Yes, he is'.

Meanwhile, Delhi has made explosive demands on Indian diplomats. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on behalf of Delhi, audio and video surveillance is being conducted by the Canadian government on some Indian consular officers.

He said their communications are being intercepted. We have formally protested to the Canadian government. Because we consider these actions to be in clear violation of relevant diplomatic and consular conventions. The Canadian government cannot claim that such incidents are harassment and intimidation justified on technical grounds.

At the same time, he complained that our diplomatic and consular staff are already working in an environment of extremism and violence. This move by the Canadian government escalates the situation and is inconsistent with established diplomatic norms and practices. Source: Hindustan Times
