According to locals, after 9:30 pm on Saturday (November 2), mortar shell explosions are heard inside Myanmar. They also said that loud explosions are coming from Teknaf Upazila Municipality, Hnila, Jadimura, Damdamia, Naitongpara, Jaliapara, Nazirpara, Sabrang, Shahpari Island and Naf river estuary border.

People on the border say that after a few days of closure, loud mortar shell explosions are again heard. Houses on the border are shaking.

Mohammad Ibrahim, a resident of Teknaf Nightongpara, said that loud explosions are coming from the Myanmar border throughout the night. Sounds like a mortar shell bomb. Resident of Shahparir Dwip.
