Jumbangla Desk: Dissatisfaction has arisen with the dining food of Shah Amanat Hall of Chittagong University. The students fed the poor quality food to the manager.

On Saturday (November 2) there was great dissatisfaction among the students over the lunch in the hall. On speaking to Mannan, the manager of the dining room, allegations of indecent behavior were raised against him and his staff.

The students forced the food manager to eat only water instead of snails and vegetables in the dining meal again at night. They then locked the manager in the dining room for some time and informed the proctor.

In this regard, Zahid Sajal, a student of Shah Amanat Hall, said that vegetables were not cooked well even for lunch. The curry potatoes were tough too. These problems with food have been going on for a long time.

Later the matter was addressed in the presence of the Proctoral Body, Hall Provost and students. They held this discussion meeting to take necessary steps to improve the quality of food in the hall.
