Science and Technology Desk: This year, MG's small electric car is coming to the market. Its model is MG Windsor EV. The market for this car is booming.

According to SW MG Motor India, it took the title of their best selling model last month. A total of 3,116 people chose the British company's electric car as their travel companion in the first month.

JSW MG Motor India managed to sell a total of 7045 vehicles in October this year. This month the company managed to achieve maximum sales. According to statistics, their sales volume in October 2023 was 5108 units. As a result, sales increased by 31 percent last month. Again this year in September 4588 units of cars were sold. Compared to which the sales in October increased by 53.55 percent.

MG Windsor EV price in India ranges from Rs 13.5 Lakh to Rs 15.5 Lakh in India. It is an electric car with 'Battery as a Service' option. That is, the battery is available for rent. As a result, the car can be bought for 10 lakh rupees. If you want to take the battery on rent, you have to pay an additional 3.5 lakh rupees.

The car competes in the market with Tata Punch EV, Tata Nexus EV and Mahindra SUV400. MG Motor claims this car is a crossover utility vehicle or CUV. It is offered in three variants.

Notable features on the MG Windsor EV include a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, digital instrument console, an expansive glass roof and Aero Lounge seats on the top trim. The car is available in four colors – Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige and Turquoise Green. This car has four riding modes – Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport.

Incidentally, the recently launched MG Windsor EV is claimed to be able to travel 332 km on a full charge. Its motor will produce 134 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque.
