According to the notification, the Police Reforms Commission wants to know your valuable opinion in this regard. The information received by 'anonymizing' the commenter will be used only to support reform work.
The circular also said, 'Police reform' is the need of the hour in view of the criticism from around the world, including Bangladesh, about the violent role of some policemen in resisting the anti-discrimination student movement in the country.
To that end, the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has constituted a 'Police Reform Commission' to reform the police force, whose activities are ongoing. The Police Reforms Commission seeks your valuable views on the matter.'
