Jumbangla Desk: Police have arrested an Awami League leader named Kamal Ahmed alias Raja Kamal in Karnaphuli, Chittagong .

He was arrested by a team of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Intelligence Branch (DB) North and South Division on Sunday (November 3) evening.

Confirming the matter, Karnaphuli Police Station OC Monir Hossain said that a team of CMP's DB has arrested Raja Kamal.

Raja Kamal is the son of Syed Ahmed of Khwajnagar village of Charpatharghata union of Karnaphuli upazila. He is in charge of General Secretary of Charpatharghata Union Awami League.
