Man is old, but his brain? Does it get old with age? There have been many studies on this topic. Harvard neurologist Leah H. Somerville wrote an article about this in the journal Neuron . He said, the human brain takes full shape within 10 years.

But the neurons that make up the brain continue to change (source: The New York Times , 21 December 2016). As new connections are made between different parts of the brain, connections between neighboring neurons are also cut. This remodeling process eventually slows down. It is a sign of brain damage. But these changes occur at different speeds in different parts of the brain.
MRI scans of the brain's frontal lobes show that the brain's rate of reorganization slows with age, but in the frontal lobes, even at age 30, new connections of neurons continue to form. Recently, various studies have shown that as a result of regular exercise, even in old age, new connections of neurons are formed in the human brain.
