Jumbangla Desk: Another 58 sub-inspectors (SIs) undergoing training at Sarda police academy in Rajshahi have been dismissed for breach of discipline.

 

Police Headquarters AIG (Media & PR) Inamul Haque Sagar confirmed this information on Monday (November 4).

It is learned that 59 sub-inspectors (SIs) who were undergoing training were bereaved last October. They were given this notice for creating chaos by sitting randomly in the training class.

On October 21, a letter signed by Superintendent of Police (Admin & Logistics) Tariq Bin Rashid on behalf of the Principal of the Police Academy, condoled 10 people and another letter on October 24, 49 people.

Earlier, on October 22, 252 SIs were relieved for the same reason.

Incidentally, in 2023, 823 people have been finalized and sent to the police academy for training as SI posts. They were supposed to be commissioned this month after completing training as 40th batch of cadets.
