Jumbangla Desk: The fortunes of India and Pakistan have changed in Test cricket. After dealing with the pressure of consecutive defeats, Pakistan made breakfast at the home ground of the English. On the other hand, after two centuries, India were whitewashed by New Zealand in white clothes in their own yard.

The English batsmen surrendered helplessly to the whirlwind of Pakistan's two spinners, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan. But Rohit Sharma's team was turned blue by the spin-poison of Kiwi spinners Ejaz Patel-Mitchell Santner who made spinning wickets at home.

Seeing Pakistan's improvement in the turning wicket, former English captain Michael Vaughan said, 'I want to see the Test series between India and Pakistan. Pakistan will beat India right now on turning wickets.'

Pakistan's legendary pacer Wasim Akram also agreed with Vaughn while commentating during the Australia-Pakistan ODI in Melbourne. Like Vaughan, he too is looking forward to the India-Pakistan Test series, Wasim said, 'It (India-Pakistan Test series) will be something big. It will be good for the game, good for both cricket-mad nations. Pakistan is now more likely to beat India on the spinning track. They were crushed 3-0 by New Zealand.'

Incidentally, India and Pakistan last met in red ball cricket in 2007. Since then, the bilateral series between the two countries has been suspended due to political reasons. While the two countries have met in ODI and T20I matches in global tournaments, cricket fans miss their duel in the elite format of cricket.
