Berobi Correspondent: In Begum Rokeya University (Berobi), 12 outsiders including 4 couples were arrested on charges of drug consumption and immoral activities in the operation of the Proctoral Body. They were later released on bond.

On Saturday (November 2) at 10 pm, the University Proctoral Body and Police Administration raided the University campus. Proctoral body and policemen arrested 12 foreigners including four couples from police outpost field, VC field and different places of the campus. They were later cautioned and released on bail.

Dr. Berobi Proctor. Md. Ferdous Rahman said that the Proctoral Body and Police Administration are working to maintain a fair environment in the campus. At night, when the members of the Proctoral Body conducted a raid along with the policemen, from the darkness of the field, four foreign couples and some youths were arrested in connection with drugs. Being arrested for the first time, they were released on bail. We will continue such operations in the future.
