BCB held a meeting with the Chief Adviser's Office, Ministry of Youth and Sports and representatives of broadcasting owners at the Cricket Board office of Mirpur Sherebangla Stadium yesterday regarding the organization of this tournament.

Chief advisor. BCB director Nazmul Abedin Fahim said that Muhammad Yunus has joined BPL. Fahim told the media in Mirpur on Monday, "The chief adviser is coming forward on his own initiative. They are specifically working on it. How to make it an international standard brand, how to spread it all over the world... Let the world see what the youth of Bangladesh can do, what is the game of Bangladesh.'

BCB will associate global stars with this event to spread BPL globally. In this context, Fahim said, 'Not many things are possible. Not all TVs can be accessed globally. If Professor Yunus comes to the field, gives a speech...if we see a very famous footballer from abroad, a great actor-actress from Hollywood coming here, connecting with it, it will surely come in the media. And it will be in the media around the world.'

'But that is how it can be propagated. We will try to promote it worldwide. I think, it will be possible to do more than what we have been able to do for so long.'- He added.

However, Fahim did not reveal which stars will be seen, 'I can't or don't want to say the names right now. May be cricket or other outdoor sports. Can be outside of sports. I can see someone like that now.'
