Jumbangla Desk: A large number of scholars and people have descended on the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan in view of the Islamic Conference. Where devout Muslims from all over the country have gathered.

On Tuesday (November 5), common people including scholars started coming to the meeting place to attend this conference which started at 9 am.

On the surface, the presence of religious people was seen on every road leading to Suhrawardy including Gulistan, Kakrail, Shahbagh, Neelkhet.

On the other hand, the police are controlling the vehicles that want to pass in front of Shahbagh, Neelkhet, Dhaka Medical, Secretariat and High Court in front of Dhaka University and Suhrawardy with barricades. Meanwhile, the vehicles are advised to take alternative routes to their destinations.

A madrasah teacher who came to the conference said that the followers of Maulana Saad are trying to create a division among Muslims by bringing him to the country. Our Center of Islamic Dawat is trying to create division in Tongi Ijtema with Kakrail Mosque. However, most of the country's scholars and devout Muslims are against him. In this situation, if steps are taken to bring him to the country, we have this conference today because of the fear of creating an unstable environment in the country.

Earlier, Qaumi Madrasah-based scholars held several press conferences and called upon all levels of Ulama-Mashayekh and general public to attend the conference.
