When the ambassador asked about the cyber security law, the advisor said that the law will be repealed within a week and all the cases filed under this law will also be cancelled. Not only this law, but all laws that hinder expression of opinion are being reviewed. Decisions on reforms will be taken in consultation with stakeholders.


When the ambassador asked about the persecution of minorities, Nahid Islam said that the minorities of Bangladesh are safe. Special security measures were taken for them in the last puja, holidays extended.
