Jumbangla Desk: Dhaka University (DU) has started the online application process for the undergraduate admission test for the academic year 2024-2025. And this application process will continue till November 25 at 11:59 PM.
Aspirants can apply online and pay the specified fee from Monday (November 4) from 12 noon.
According to the admission notification of the university authorities, the online application for the undergraduate admission test for the academic year 2024-25 of the university will start from November 4. And this application process will continue till November 25 at 11:59 PM. Application Fee 1 thousand 50 (one thousand fifty) Taka. But the fee of IBA unit is 1 thousand 500 taka. The admission test will start from January 3.
From 2019 to 2022, students who have passed secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examinations in 2024 who fulfill the prescribed conditions for admission to various units in Dhaka University, only they can apply for admission to the undergraduate program in the academic year 2024-25. As such, there is no opportunity for second time admission.
Admission candidates can apply online from Monday 12:00 PM to 25 November 11:59 PM. The application fee is Tk 1,500 and the IBA unit application fee is Tk 1500 at any branch of four state-owned commercial banks (Sonali, Janata, Agrani, Rupali) or online using debit/credit card, mobile financial services.
When is DU admission test in which unit?
1. Arts, Law and Social Science Unit: 25th January (Saturday)
2. Science Unit: 1 February (Saturday)
3. Business Education Unit: February 8 (Saturday)
4. Art Unit (General Knowledge and Drawing): January 4 (Saturday)
5. IBA Unit: January 3 (Friday)
Students can apply for five units.
Eligibility to Apply-
Detailed information regarding admission will be mentioned in the admission guide of the respective unit given on the website. Admission Test of Fine Arts Unit (General Knowledge and Drawing) will be held on the same day therefore admission test of this unit and IBA Unit will be held at Dhaka Center only.
Faculty of Science, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology for admission to all departments and related institutes and Science Unit for admission to Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences for admission to related institutes Science Unit.

Apart from this, the Business Education Unit for admission to all departments under the Faculty of Business Studies; The admission-seekers have to apply to the Fine Arts Unit for admission to all departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the IBA Unit for admission to the IBA Institute.
