International Desk: There are more than 80 million early voters in the US presidential election. Among them are a couple who are polar opposites in politics. Husband Roger is a Trump supporter and wife Laura likes Kamala.
The married couple, who hail from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have already cast their ballots. Their story came out in a BBC report.
While wife Laura said she hoped to convince her husband to vote for Kamala. But in reality it did not happen. Because, Roger is adamant to budge from his conservative position.
Roger told the BBC that he voted for the 'good of evil' candidate, Republican candidate Donald Trump . Because, he is a conservative and his staunch stance is against abortion.
On the other hand, Laura said, she does not want American women to "go back". That is, one is conservative, the other relatively liberal. So how do the two live together under the same roof?
In response, the couple said they avoid arguments about politics at home. This couple adopted this strategy to maintain peace in the world. But Laura hopes, their 'marriage' could be a model for a divided country.
