The visa process of all the traveling companions including 7 doctors of the medical board formed for him has also been completed.
If everything is fine including his physical condition, he will be taken to London, United Kingdom on November 8 by 'Long Distance Specialized Air Ambulance'. However, if an air ambulance is not available, his journey abroad may be delayed by a day or two.
In this regard, BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that all the necessary procedures for Begum Khaleda Zia's visit to London have been completed. He is scheduled to go to London on November 8 if everything goes well, including his physical condition. He also mentioned that 16 people including seven doctors, nurses and three assistants of the Medical Board will go with Begum Khaleda Zia.
Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury while talking to reporters said that Begum Khaleda Zia will first go to London, United Kingdom from Dhaka. From there, according to the advice of expert doctors, it can be taken to a 'multidisciplinary health center' in the United States or Germany for liver transplantation.
He said that some hospitals in London have already been contacted for the treatment of the BNP Chairperson.
In this regard, BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said that BNP chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will be taken abroad in the air ambulance, which will have all kinds of medical support.
79-year-old former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is suffering from various diseases including liver cirrhosis, heart disease, lung, arthritis, kidney, diabetes, eye problems.
He had to undergo treatment for a long time at the evercare hospital of the capital on the advice of the medical board consisting of specialist doctors.
