On Wednesday (November 6), Bangladesh Bank spokesperson Husne Ara Shikha confirmed this information to the media. He said, "All the bank accounts of Shakib Al Hasan have been seized."
Earlier, on October 2, the BFIU summoned all the bank account information of Shakib Al Hasan, his wife Umm Ahmed Shishir and their businesses to investigate manipulation and financial irregularities in the capital market. After the investigation, this decision was taken by the government.
This made Shakib's chances of returning home soon even weaker. He is currently staying with his family in the United States. Although he is not supposed to play until the West Indies series, there is also a question about whether he will come to the field in the end or not. The world's best all-rounder has already retired from Test and T20.
Incidentally, Shakib contested for Awami League from a constituency in his district Magura in the 12th National Parliament Election. He won that election and became a member of parliament. However, the president dissolved the parliament in the reshuffle of August 5. Shakib lost his position as a member of parliament. Since then he is out of the country.
Due to the public transport crisis, small cars are increasing causing traffic jams
Among them, Shakib has been accused in the murder case. He wanted to retire after playing Tests against South Africa on home soil. But his wish was not fulfilled.
