Jumbangla Desk: Additional Secretary of Electricity Department received the responsibility of Director General (DG) of Islamic Foundation. Rezanur Rahman. He is the outgoing director general. the mouth Bashirul Alam is being replaced.

On Wednesday (November 6) Additional Secretary of Electricity Department from Preshan-1 Division of Ministry of Public Administration. An order has been issued regarding the appointment of Rezanur Rahman as the Director General of the Islamic Foundation.

Rezanur Rahman BCS 17th batch administration cadre officer. He joined the administration cadre in 1998. After that he served as Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate in different districts, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Upazila Executive Officer in Upazila.

Apart from this, he served as deputy secretary and joint secretary in various ministries and departments. Finally he served as Additional Secretary of Electricity Department.

Incidentally, the Director General of the Islamic Foundation, Mr. Bashirul Alam was removed on September 22. He was assigned to the Ministry of Public Administration for further posting. Then Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Saiful Islam additionally served as Director General of Islamic Foundation.
