Woman killed by buffalo in Moghbazar

Jumbangla Desk: A woman named Sathi Akhtar (35) died after being bitten by a buffalo brought for slaughter in Ambagan area of ​​Moghbazar of the capital. Three people named Roni (30), Shamsu (45) and Nadia (23) were injured in this incident.

The incident took place on Wednesday (November 6) evening. Later, they were rescued and brought to Dhaka Medical College (DMH) Hospital.


Jewel, a neighbor who brought the injured to the hospital, said a butcher named Alam slaughters a buffalo a week. He ties the buffalo brought for slaughter in front of his house. On Wednesday evening, the buffalo ran and mauled four persons named Sathi, Roni, Shamsu and Nadia. The injured partner was taken to Moghbazar Community Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The other three injured were taken to Dhaka Medical.


He also said that Shamsu's belly button was pulled out by the buffalo horn, Nadia's leg was broken. The doctor said that their condition is critical. And the body of the deceased partner was taken to his village home in Shariatpur at night.

 


When asked about this, Hatirjheel police station sub-inspector (SI) Rupan Chowdhury said that a woman named Sathi died yesterday after being hit by a buffalo horn. Some were injured in the incident. The body of the woman was handed over to the family without an autopsy. The injured are under treatment at Dhaka Medical.
