In Down syndrome, the baby's body is fluffy and soft and the facial features are different. These children do not have intelligence, cannot walk, sit, walk and speak late. Children who have a large tongue after birth, protruding tongue, swollen abdomen, delay in walking and sitting, have thyroid gland problems. Children talk late due to hormonal problems. There is no difficulty in walking, sitting or walking, but speech is delayed. Behavioral difficulties are seen. Children do not sit in one place, they move on their own. After many children begin to learn to speak at one year of age, it has been found to decline by age two. This is because of the effect of mobile phones on children.

City children speak later than village children. Village children get more parents, mix with other children, don't get mobile phones. Parents talking less with the child is also a reason for the child to speak late. Children from younger families also speak late. If the parents are working children are seen to talk less or late.
