Lifestyle Desk: Most children try to imitate their fathers. The father's behavior and habits are reflected in the child's appearance, walk and behavior. Therefore, the behavior of the father is also very important to make the child a good child.

Many times children are held in a special status due to the good deeds of the father. The children are freed from various big dangers due to the good deeds and prayers of the father. As there is precedent in the case of Khizr (as) described in the Holy Qur'an. where he fixes a leaning wall to save hidden wealth for two orphans. Referring to that incident in the Holy Qur'an, it is said that the father of those two children was a Selak.

The Holy Qur'an says, 'And the matter of the wall is that it belonged to two orphan boys living in this city . Underneath it was their treasure and their father was a Selak. So your Lord willed that the two sons should reach maturity and bring out their treasures. All this happened by the mercy of your Lord.' (Surah: Kahf, verse: 82)

It is understood by this verse, the life of the children is happy and safe due to the blessings of father's good deeds, piety, abstinence and prayers. A good father's tears make the child's life successful.

The famous Tabi, Khalifatul Muslimin Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz (RA) said that if a Selak dies, Allah Ta'ala certainly protects his children and the next generation.

So if a father wishes for a bright future for his children, success and safety in this life and the hereafter, then he must correct himself. Life should be adorned with piety and austerity.

Through salah and piety, the child will advance to achieve salah and falah in both worlds and the hereafter.

The famous Tabee Muhammad Ibnul Munqadir (R.A.) said, for the benefit of a person's 'Salah' and righteousness, Allah Ta'ala bestows 'Salah' and righteousness on his children and their next generation, and protects his house and the houses around him, as long as he exists among them. (Sunan Kubra, Nasa'i, Narration 11866; Ayyuhad Orya Raqaiq, Ibn al-Mubarak, Narration 330)

Not only in this world, but with the blessing of the good deeds of the righteous father, his believing children will be honored in the Hereafter. Even if they get a lower level in Jannah than their father, they will be raised in status and given the opportunity to meet the father due to the blessing of the good deeds of the father. It is stated in the Holy Qur'an, 'And those who believe and their children follow them in faith, We will unite their children with them and will not diminish any part of their deeds. Every person shall be responsible for his earnings.'
(Surah: Tur, verse: 21)

That is, those whose fathers will be blessed with the highest status of Paradise based on their sincerity, fear of God, good deeds and good character, Allah Almighty will also raise the status of their believing children and bring them together with their fathers. Do not so as to lower the status of their fathers and bring them to the lower status of their children. In other words, he will give double grace to the believers.

May Allah Almighty accept us and our next generation as Dwindar and Muttaki. Amen.
