In Kamalnagar of Lakshmipur, many farmers could not cultivate the land due to waterlogging along with floods. Due to financial hardship due to loss of employment, agricultural workers have taken donations from various brick kiln owners. At this moment, the brick kilns are being closed by the administration. A human chain has been formed demanding that the brick kilns not be closed this year in order to provide employment to the flood-affected farmers.

On Thursday (November 7) around 11:00 am, an hour-long program was held in front of the District Commissioner's office under the banner of flood-affected farmers and workers on the Laxmipur-Dhaka regional highway. Meanwhile, a large number of farmers and workers participated in the human chain by hanging placards with various texts around their necks.

At the end of the human chain, the chief advisor of the government through the Lakshmipur District Commissioner. Memorial script was submitted along with Muhammad Yunus.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) Kamalnagar upazila committee president Abdul Motaleb, social worker Imran Hossain Shakeel and Nurul Islam on behalf of farmers and workers spoke at the human band.
