Public Prosecutor (PP) Omar Farooq Farooqui of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court spoke on behalf of Amir Hossain Amur's remand in the remand hearing. At that time, Swapan Roy Chowdhury, the lawyer of accused Amu commented that his statement was political. Then the other lawyers present in the court got excited and started beating him. He fell in front of the door of the court in the incident of beating. At one point he was kicked. Then some lawyers took him out of the court.

Complaining the victim's lawyer Swapan Roy Chowdhury told reporters, "During the hearing in the court, I was beaten and thrown out." But the court did not take any action. There is no justice here. I want justice.

The court granted 6-day remand to Awami League advisory council member and former minister Amir Hossain Amur, who was arrested in the case of shooting and killing of businessman Abdul Wadud in the capital's Newmarket area during the anti-discrimination movement.

Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) arrested Amir Hossain Amu from Dhanmondi area of ​​the capital on Wednesday (November 6).
