Students of Dhaka University staged a protest march demanding a referendum to decide on the banning of all kinds of party political activities in the residential and academic areas of the university.

The procession started in front of the Raju sculpture on Thursday night.

Abdul Quader and Abu Bakr Majumdar, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, were present in the rally.
