Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, Senior Vice Chairman of Asian TV and Chairman of Rupayan Group, has been re-elected as a director by getting the highest number of votes in the Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO) elections.

At 11 am on Wednesday at a hotel in the capital under the chairmanship of Atco's current president Anjan Chowdhury, the voting of the new executive committee was held after the annual general meeting.
15 people including Liaqat Ali Khan Mukul were elected as directors. Later, the directors voted for the post of president. NTV chairman Mosaddek Ali and Banglavision chairman Abdul Haque got equal 7 votes each. For this, voting will be held again for the post of president.
Desh TV Managing Director (MD) Arif Hasan, Vice President DBC News Chairman Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury have been elected General Secretary.
Besides Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, other directors are Alhaj Mohammad Mosaddek Ali, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Arif Hasan, Zahiruddin Mahmud Mamun, Anjan Chowdhury, Mostafa Kamal, Md. Jasim Uddin, Tipu Alam Milan, Kazi Jahedul Hasan, Navidul Haque, Abdus Salam, Safwan Sobhan and Abdul Haque.
The new committee will be responsible for the next three years.
