Naval police recovered the body of an unidentified woman floating in Shitalakshya river in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj. The body was recovered from the western edge of Sadhurghat in Ward No. 6, Nashik on Thursday (November 7).

The victim's name was not immediately available, but the police said his age would be approximately 32 years.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kanchpur Naval Police Outpost Mohammad Abdul Halim, who recovered the body from the scene, said, "I have recovered the body and brought it." The body was in the water for maybe 6-7 days. I did not find any marks of injury on the body. The details of the autopsy will be known.
