Jumbangla Desk: Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that if the Awami League comes to power again in the country, their first target will be the anti-discrimination student society. He said this in a gathering of Dinajpur Haji Danesh University of Science and Technology on Thursday (November 7).

On this day, a student rally of anti-discrimination student movement was held in Noor Hossain field of Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology. The rally started around 4:30 PM and ended after Maghrib Azan. Central Coordinator Sarjis Alam, Hasanat Abdullah, Tariqul Islam and several others participated in it.

Hasanat Abdullah also said, requesting the university teachers not to get involved in the career building and promotion business by capitalizing on the future of the students. Addressing the political parties, he said, have you developed such a position in these few days due to which the friends of the fascist murderer Sheikh Hasina expressed interest in working with you.

Sarjis Alam said, this university is far ahead in terms of infrastructure. However, we have to keep these questions in front of us as to why it could not enter the top ten universities of the country even in two eras. A university can advance the entire Rangpur division by a few centuries. For this, the university should be kept in a separate place. University is not a place for partisan academic student politics. Central Student Council should be arranged to establish student leadership. We need to find out why universities have become arenas for fascist flattery.

It is to be noted that the rally was held to discuss the topic of revolutionary student masses to uphold the July revolution and rebuild the state.
