The incident took place at Badamtali area of ​​the upazila around 5 pm on Thursday.

It is known that sand miners are extracting sand illegally in Amirabad section of Sonagazi in Muhuri river. Based on such news, Yugantar representative Abdur Rahim went to the spot and took pictures and videos.

At one stage, 8/10 terrorists, including the Sand Excavator Amirabad Union BNP leader Mofizul Haque, KM Fakhruddin Farooq, Jubo Dal leaders Suman and Zafar Rubel, went to the spot and snatched Rahim's mobile phone and beat him up.
