Awami League leader Amir Hossain Amur's lawyer claimed to have killed the lawyer and thrown him out of the court, Dhaka Metropolitan Public Prosecutor Omar Farooq Faruqi has claimed.

Farooq Faruqi said that no lawyer of the state side beat the lawyer who claimed to be Amir Hossain Amur's lawyer. A party then ejected him from the court.
He said that the lawyer claims that the statement given by the said lawyer is actually not Amu's lawyer, his lawyers said. Such incidents have been deliberately created to mislead the countrymen.
Incidentally, Dhaka Metropolitan Public Prosecutor Omar Farooq Farooqui heard on behalf of Amir Hossain Amur's remand grant in the Metropolitan Hakim Shaheen Razor Court on Thursday.
After that, when the accused started the hearing, Amur's lawyer Swapan Roy Chowdhury commented that the statement of the public prosecutor was political. Then a group of lawyers present in the court got excited and started beating him. He fell in front of the door of the court in the incident of beating. At one point he was kicked. Then some lawyers picked him up and took him out of the court safely. Later he demanded justice for this incident in front of the journalists.
